We chose three different stories just to underline that this difference is the key of success: every event has its own specific needs which must be understood, respected and appreciated.

  • Here are the three selected case studies:
    Synapse, symposium about AI, organized by Bending Spoons;
  • PLUG-MI, the urban culture festival designed and produced by Fandango Club Creators in collaboration with MICAM Milano;
  • Security Channel Hub, the first big corporate event dedicated to security, by Computer Gross

Scopriamo insieme quali sono gli elementi che distinguono ciascuno di questi eventi e li fanno spiccare!

Host an international symposium: the "Synapse" case by Bending Spoons

Founded in 2013 in Copenhagen, Bending Spoons is one of the most important tech company in Europe and one of the best workplace in Italy according to Great Place to Work Awards. In 2022 the company decided to create a moment of gathering and dialogue for the AI community: and that's how Synapse has bornthe symposium about AI, an opportunity to reflect about the advancements of this sector while addressing some of today’s most pressing global questions.

The second edition of Synapse took place at Superstudio Events' Milan venue. There were 250 guests, mainly STEM students and researcher from top quality universities, which presented studies and projects about AI.

For an event like this to succeed, many elements need to come together perfectly
For example:

  • It is essential to welcome and make an international audience feel at home
  • Guests must be able to move easily through the space, transitioning between plenary sessions and more focused, topic-specific workshops
  • It's necessary to connect speakers worldwide ensuring high-quality streaming, sound, and video

These very needs led Bending Spoons to choose Superstudio Events as the ideal venue. It wasn’t just about the physical space, the services and the Superstudio Events team met all the criteria. The company was seeking a partner that could:

  • Handle events with an international scope
  • Offer large, flexible spaces
  • Provide state-of-the-art technology
  • Guarantee the support of a professional team of high level

The result has been satisfying for everyone: Synapse was an excellent networking and insight opportunities for the guests, that expressed strong appreciation and enthusiasm for the initiative.
Mattia Spagnuolo, Event Manager at Bending Spoons, said:

“Once again this year, Synapse was a huge success, and like every success, it reflects the collaboration and dedication of many people. I would like to thank both all the Bending Spoons team members who took part in the project and the entire Superstudio Events staff, who supported us from day one with exceptional professionalism.”

Planning a festival for thousand of people: the case of PLUG-MI

PLUG-MI was launched in 2019 to bring together, in a single location, the experiences and activities most sought after by urban culture enthusiasts. Over two days in Milan, visitors can not only explore the latest trends in fashion, but also take part in sneaker customization workshops, meet influencers, attend talks featuring key figures in urban culture, watch street dance battles, join sports competitions on the basketball court, and enjoy the energy of live performances by renowned singers and DJs.

This edition welcomed thousands of visitors, over 50 participating brands, including major streetstyle names, and 90 live events, featuring concerts by top artists such as Articolo 31 and Bresh. More than 400.000 social media contents were produced and over 25 million accounts were reached during the week of the event, making PLUG-MI a hot topic across the global urban and street culture scene.

An event with such a packed program requires a highly coordinated logistics and operations setup to ensure a smooth and exciting experience for the audience. Among the many needs of a large-scale event like PLUG-MI, the most crucial are:

  • Accessibility of the venue
  • Capacity to host and manage large crowds
  • Presence of high-quality public services
  • Modular of the spaces and flexible indoor and outdoor spaces
  • Presence of a professional teamwith the experience to handle challenges and find fast solutions

It’s clear that an event of this scale must be backed by a well-oiled machine and a strong collaboration between organizers and the venue’s in-house team.

The result, once again, was a great success. In the words of Marco Moretti, Fandango Club Creator CEO, the society of Campus Fandango Club behind the concept and the production of the event

We are truly thrilled by audience's response and proud to have added a new and essential milestone in building an event we hope will become an annual gathering for the urban industry and its community

Building a cybersecurity ecosystem: inside the Computer Gross event

Computer Gross is a well-established Italian company ofinformation technology, born in 1994 and that in 2023 can count on a team of over 500 people and a network of more than 14.000 official resellers across the country.

The event Security Channel Hub was born from the need to create an ecosystem in security and cybersecurity world in which interacts the best solutions, ideas, digital communication tools. Security Channel Hub is a kind of fair that provides visibility to vendors (services suppliers), within the Computer Gross network, giving them the possibility to showcase their products.

Even in this case, there were some specific needs:

  • Having experienced professionals to guide the company through the organization process, as this was their first major event of its kind
  • Counting on a network of trusted suppliers tested over the years
  • Finding spaces both flexible and customizable, since Computer Gross needed to combine a convention with an exhibition and networking area, all within a single, easily accessible venue
  • Capacity of managing many exhibitors and the steady flow of visitors

The result was that Security Channel Hub became a space for sharing knowledge, solutions, and tools, as well as a new reference point for professionals in the cybersecurity sector. As company representatives explained,

We needed to organize our first large corporate event and required the support of an experienced team to deliver a successful meeting. Superstudio Events made every step quick and easy, so the company didn’t have to worry about any part of the setup or the management of the event space.

We already told the story of this event here: discover the behind the scene of Computer Gross!

We hope these three stories, each unique and impactful in its own way, have sparked some inspiration or curiosity. As we mentioned before, every event has its own specific needs which must be understood, respected, and enhanced. At Superstudio Events, that’s exactly what we aim to do. That’s why our venues are designed for maximum customization and serve as the ideal stage to unleash creativity, supported by a team of experienced professionals.
